

Breaking down barriers to form progressive, action-based partnerships in Northern California and the Central Valley

Location: Placer County, CA (Venue TBD)
Date: Friday, July 7, and Saturday, July 8th 2023
What: A two-day, in-person interactive training hosted by the Community Governance Partnership,
regional partners, foundations and facilitated by executive trainer David Hunt, internationally recognized for his organizer training and facilitation skills. (Foundation scholarships available!)
Organizational leadership and activists from the newly drawn 3rd Congressional District and adjacent counties, who have an ongoing commitment to building community; have existing roles in activism, environmental, social justice organizations; or have a background/professional interest in advocacy, coalition building, public service and electoral campaigns. ALL organizing backgrounds welcome!
